Journeying through a facility in Lethal Company is unquestionably very nerve-wracking. It is very easy to get lost as you explore these dark hallways and avoid monsters crawling behind your back. Things become even more difficult when you come across a hallway door that is closed or locked. In some cases, you can get past these doors on your own, but other doors will require you to get a little help from your teammates. Here is how to open doors in Lethal Company.

If you come across a locked door in Lethal Company, you will need to find a key. These doors look just like any other you can easily open and close, but won’t open when you interact with them. Keys can be found randomly placed on the ground throughout any facility, so you will need to get a little lucky, but they are pretty easy to find, even if you’re a new player. Any key you find on the ground will work on any locked door, even if you carry it onto your ship and use it in a different facility.

In some facility hallways, you will come across a large metal door that opens sideways instead of swinging outward. These sealed doors can only be controlled at the terminal on the ship. If a teammate is watching over you from the monitor on the ship, use a walkie-talkie to ask them to open the door for you. They will then need to go to the terminal and type in whatever the letter and number is to operate that door. For example, for the image above, they would only type in U2 and hit Enter. You can tell them what it is, or they can see the code on the monitor if you are standing by it. Entering the code again will shut the door and can keep encroaching monsters separated from you.
