How to craft in Palworld
For starters, crafting in Palworld requires materials that you gather from the world around you. Basic resources such as wood, stone, fiber, and Paldium Fragments are needed to craft items like Pal Spheres, chests, beds, and weapons. As you progress, you will need to collect more items to build greater things.
At first, you can pull up the build menu by pressing the B key or pressing up on the D-Pad. Use your mouse or the right stick to select what you want to build. Once placed, most items will appear as blue outlines in the world. Hold the X button or the F key to build these objects.
One of the most important items to craft is the workbench as it will allow you to craft more items. To use the workbench, interact with it and use the menu to select what item you wish to create. You can then choose how many of those items you want to build. Afterward, interact with the workbench again to start building the item you selected. If you have Pals at your camp, they will help by building the item for you.
Palworld Crafting – How to summon Pals at your camp
If you want some extra hands around camp, try summoning Pals to help you. To do this, start by building a Palbox. This can be found under the Pal section of the crafting menu. Once built, interact with the Palbox.
When you see the Palbox menu, choose the Pal or Pals you want in your camp and place them in the “Pals at the base” section of the menu. This will make them appear at your camp to help you craft items and build a base. The more you level up your camp, the more Pals you will be able to have to help you. Make sure to level up your camp as you go to further increase your abilities.
Finally, Pals around your camp will automatically work on furniture items you place and will automatically start gathering materials in the vicinity. If you build a base near multiple materials, Pals will collect these and place them in your storage containers. This makes crafting much easier.
