Palworld is both an online and offline game that allows you to play solo or with your friends. If you want to capture Pals with other people, you might be wondering, “Does Palworld have dedicated servers?” This type of question comes up pretty often when it comes to online survival games since it would be nice to play online with other people.
Whether you are trying to Capture Pals, teach them how to work, or just trying to survive, it is better to do so with others. Why not enjoy this title with other fans instead of going it alone on Palpagos Island? So does Palworld have dedicated servers or are you forced to rent one? How do you create a server in Palworld?
Palworld – Are there dedicated servers?
Yes and no. Palworld does have dedicated multiplayer servers but only on PC. Those who are playing on Xbox do not have access to dedicated servers. This is a drastic blow to Xbox fans as there are many who want to play the game with their friends as well as other people in a larger world. That ability, as of right now, is only available for those playing on PC.
How to make a server in Palworld
Those who are playing on PC can make a server by selecting the start game option when they launch the game. From there, create a new world and select that you want the multiplayer turned on. This will allow you to create a multiplayer game for you and your friends.
You can also purchase a server from websites such as Survivor Servers. This will allow you to create an always-online server for you and your friends. If you would rather join a dedicated server, you can do so by selecting the join multiplayer game option in the main menu. This will give you access to official Palworld servers as well as community servers that are open to the public. There is even information here for creating your own server. Remember, a Palworld server can hold up to 32 players and many of the servers are full so don’t hesitate to join one!
