There are plenty of creatures hiding out around Appalachia in Fallout 76 with Opossums being one of them. These creatures are typically hard to spot because of how small they are but killing them will guarantee you some food that you can cook up. Fallout 76 – All Opossum locations in Appalachia
There are only a handful of places where you can find Opossum in Fallout 76. By that, we mean that you will only find them in about five different locations. Because of this, this creature can be a bit hard to find.
Opossum will spawn in the following areas around Appalachia:
- Green County Lodge – Next to the room with the weights
- Flatwoods – Just outside the tavern where the cooking stations are
- Red Rocket Filling Station – Around the unmarked sludge trailer to the north
- White Powder Winter Sports – To the east in a clear near a cliff
- Enclave Research Facility – Holding Cell C02
When an Opossum is killed, it will drop Opossum Meat. This can be used to make Awesome Opossum Bacon. This tasty treat will give you five Rads, heal you for 90, and give you four Luck – not bad for a single piece of meat. Opossums are non-hostile creatures so when you spot one, you will not get attacked. Rather, you should be able to easily kill one of these creatures without much effort.
