The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has so many weapons that it can be hard to keep them all in mind. While plenty were made for this experience exclusively, Nintendo is not afraid to reference their older games. The Biggoron’s Sword originally debuted back in Ocarina of Time, where you had to go on a lengthy quest to make it. It is back now, and you can grab this large-bladed weapon after a quick battle. Here is how to get the Biggoron’s Sword in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where is the Biggoron’s Sword in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

To find the Biggoron’s Sword in Tears of the Kingdom, you must travel to the northern edge of the Surface map. Northeast of Death Mountain in the Deep Akkala area is Skull Lake.

When you arrive, grab the nearby Shrine and then go to the left-eye portion of the lake. There is a chasm to drop into the Depths here. You are going to have a fight down here, so prepare. When you drop into the chasm, use Brightbloom Seeds to light up the area. Also, the drop isn’t as long as some other chasms, so be ready to pull your paraglider.

When you get to the bottom, you will be attacked by a group of skeleton enemies. Like normal, strike them to have their skull hit the ground and finish them off. The larger Stalnox will awake and attack when all smaller enemies are gone. For this boss, you need to start attacking it like you would a normal Hinox. Shooting its eye will stun it. You can knock the eye out of its head in the latter part of its health bar. While it’s on the ground, attack until it is destroyed.

After the Stalnox is defeated, you can open the chest in the room to get the Biggoron’s Sword. This is a two-handed melee weapon with decent starting damage that you can make better with fusing materials. It will eventually break like other weapons, but you can get it again by returning to this location after a Blood Moon passes. Additionally, after finding it the first time, the item will appear in the Bargainer Statue store in the Depths or at Lookout Landing. It costs 150 Poes.
