Not all Dungeons & Dragons adventures can be part of the main quest. Side quests, minor villains, and fun missions breathe life into your fantasy world and offer players something else to do. But coming up with an endless stream of ideas, especially since your adventuring party may travel all over the land, is a challenge. That is where Sarsen Games’ Bounty Boards come in. This hardback adventure book has everything you need to keep your players occupied for hours to come.

The Bounty Boards are a collection of posters, notes, riddles, and side quests. They are customized for different environments, including small taverns, big cities, elven outposts, and more. The fact that the book is self-standing means players can physically engage with the bounty board and pass it around for others to investigate. The book contains multiple posters for each location so that you never have to repeat content.

For each board you can expect to find wanted posters, quests for finding lost items or animals, job postings such as protecting traveling caravans, and foraging for specific plants in the wilderness. Not only does this open the door for fun outside of the main quest, but it can also be used to introduce NPCs, bring the party to new locations, and even lead to BBEG-level enemies.

The project was fully funded in 12 hours and has already surpassed its original goal by $2,000+. But with 21 days still to go on the Kickstarter, there are plenty of stretch goals that can be met to provide even more DnD content in the book!

You can support Bounty Boards on its Kickstarter page, securing your copy when it is released December 2024.
