In 2021, Reky Studios released its viral co-op management game, Bunhouse, where players took on the role of adorable bunnies who raise plants and cultivate a cozy greenhouse. From its release, Bunhouse quickly received great reviews, described as “the most wholesome, sweet, good-spirited thing,” with an impressive 9/10 rating on Steam. Considering the positive feedback from Bunhouse, it was only a matter of time before Reky Studios started their next project — and today that day has come. In its recent post, Reky Studios announced a Kickstarter for the next addition to their bunny universe, a co-op bunny baking game by the adorable title of Cinnabunny.
From the game announcement’s initial footage, it looks like Cinnabunny will have players trade in the confines of the Bunhouse greenhouse for the open-world bunny village of Sugar Creek Burrows, where the main goal is to manage a cozy, bunny-owned bakery. Baking doesn’t seem like the only thing players will do in this game, though. On the game’s Steam page, Cinnabunny shows off not only farming and baking gameplay, but also mining, interacting with fellow bunny villagers, interior decorating, birdwatching, robot wrangling (not joking) and mushroom collecting.
As of now, it seems like Cinnabunny will feature all the aspects that made Bunhouse an adorable, well-received management simulator, while also having more things to do. For those who enjoyed the idea of Bunhouse, but disliked the lack of content, or if you’re just a cozy game lover, we suggest keeping an eye on Cinnabunny’s Kickstarter and Steam page!
