The Disney Dreamlight Valley devs have started teasing new additions coming in the spring update. One of the major problems, however, is that nobody wants what the devs are teasing. Instead, fans are wishing for a whole lot more than being able to share Touch of Magic designs with their friends. In fact, many think that this feature will ruin DreamSnaps.
User moniqueeeee on Reddit shared the post from the official Disney Dreamlight Valley X page. While the announcements from the devs are typically exciting, most fans found this one to be underwhelming and are instead asking for different features in the upcoming update. The devs have already teased what is to come in the next Star Path when the update drops later this year.
The top comment on the Reddit post reads, “No, I WISH to be able to angle furniture.” This is a feature that many fans have asked for since the game was released in early access. The ability to angle furniture so it isn’t always snapped to a 90-degree angle would be amazing. The wishes don’t stop there. Other fans are asking for a way to “easily search through furniture” and a “better way to search through recipes instead of scrolling forever.”
Others are comparing the multiplayer to that of Animal Crossing and would rather have “a kiosk machine” where you can “type someone’s code in” and download the Touch of Magic Designs. Players would rather not have to invite a friend to their valley just to get a design.
Others, however, are afraid this feature will ruin DreamSnaps. Some even want the multiplayer feature to be changed overall, starting with the destruction of the hideous multiplayer portal. Some even admitted to “hiding the portal in the back corner of their valley” so they don’t need to look at it. It really doesn’t seem like the community is game for anything the devs have in store.
