Updates for Disney Dreamlight Valley have been happening regularly with four of them already having been released since the game hit consoles and PC in September. The fifth major update is coming sometime in June, but that hasn’t stopped the developers from announcing little bits of what we can expect to see in update 5. This time, the developers have shared a sneak peek of a new mechanic that fans will have access to when the update drops. This new mechanic will allow players to place multiple homes around the valley to really spruce it up.
Announced on Twitter earlier today, the feature in the new update will allow players to place multiple player homes around the valley using any extra home skins you may be holding in your inventory, giving you access to multiple homes. There is no telling if they will all have the same layout or if they will all be decorated differently.
Odds are, each home will share the same interior but have different exteriors. This is still a great mechanic for those who really love to decorate their valley and make specially themed areas. Players in the past have created entire enchanted meadows that would be perfect for the castle or cabin skins.
Other bits of information announced about the update include new furniture, additional story quests, and even the ability to design your own beds. There is still plenty of information we don’t know about the update like what princess will come racing in (but we have our guesses, Vanellope). If Gameloft stays true to its word, this will finally be the update that brings multiplayer to the valley.
There is no telling what we can expect until we see a trailer for the update drop. Stay tuned this week because Gameloft hinted that it will be showing off more.
