The first Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo is out and everyone loves the piano. While there are still a few weeks to go before the full game is released, the demo has brought out the musical side in players. Located within Tifa’s room in a flashback, Cloud can sit and play the piano using the DualSense controller to choose the right keys to play. It’s kind of similar to playing the guitar in The Last of Us Part II but taken a step further.

We love seeing people get to use video games as a tool for making music and other art. While you are completely capable of freestyling on it in the game, there is also sheet music you can find around the area that gives you a mini-game to play specific songs and get a star rating. That is more along the lines of something we can do, but we love seeing the creativity from the community.
With Final Fantasy VII Rebirth still a little bit of a wait away, we’re sure we are only going to see more piano music videos hit the internet. Now we just need an option to let Cloud sing along and this will be the perfect addition to the game.
