The galactic map in Helldivers 2 sits as a beacon of democracy whenever you enter your ship. It is there to help ferry you around the galaxy and show you what missions need to be completed. Unfortunately, it doesn’t give you all the information it should. One topic that many have been discussing is the importance of supply lines. These invisible connections between the planets are a major deal but you might not have ever heard of them. This is because you only see them in a few areas that aren’t even in the game.
If you didn’t know, supply lines in Helldivers 2 are connections between the planets. These lines show where planets are getting their supplies from and can be interrupted. The use of supply lines was a major point during the Martale Gambit and they will continue to be used for missions in the future. Previously, community manager Twinbeard stated, “There will be more visual clarity in terms of supply lines going forward.”

It has been over a week since Twinbeard mentioned the supply lines. Luckily, we don’t need to wait any longer for an update. Twinbeard reaffirmed that the “more visible info on the galactic map is in the works.” He stated the team is also “discussing various ways of improving the in-game comms.”
Communication is something that many players have complained about since the launch of Helldivers 2. They have stated that there needs to be better communication between players and the developer. They have also stated that there needs to be better communication between players as there is currently no LFG (Looking for group) outside of going to the Helldivers 2 Discord server. We already know that we will be getting more emotes in the future but many have said there should be more social options such as guilds or at the very least matchmaking.
