Stratagems are some of your most useful tools in Helldivers 2 to use against the Terminid and Automaton hordes. Of course, not every Stratagem planned has been put into the game and some are still on standby for future release. For instance, the Anti-Tank Mines have been teased multiple times with the last time being a choice between them and sick kids. Recently, a leaker on Reddit revealed some unreleased Stratagems for Helldivers 2 – one of which is a massive carpet bombing run that players are desperate for.
Worthy leaker, Emptynesz, recently posted a video showing off numerous unreleased Stratagems for Helldivers 2. This isn’t the first video they have posted of leaks as they recently posted a video of the MLS-4X Commando and even leaked the Polar Patriots weapons previously.
The post consists of Emptynesz showing off different Stratagems, including information about what kid of destructive power each one of them has. The following Stratagems are in the video:
- Defense Wall – Places down a wall with a machine gun attached to it.
- Trench Wall – Similar to the Defense Wall but with a Stalwart attached to it.
- Grenade Launcher – Grenade launcher with a stun variant and an incendiary variant.
- ST-1 Stinger – Rocket launcher with lock-on similar to the Spear.
Each of these Stratagems looks great but we are most impressed with the grenade launcher variants which could be useful for dealing with large crowds of enemies. The final Stratagem that was shown off is the Carpet Bombing Run. This strong Stratagem is capable of deleting Automaton Bases from existence and leveling an area. If we ever get this Stratagem, many will be excited to get their hands on it for sure.
The Carpet Bombing Run appears to also reference another leak that happened recently which suggested clans will be coming in the future. This Stratagem shows text that reads “Missions Clan Station,” which could be referring to the Platoons and Clans talked about in the leak from IronS1ghts. If this is the case, we may need to form a clan to get our hands on it if it is ever added to the game. After all, we are still waiting on other new content such as the Illuminate to arrive.
