The Palworld devs have released an important FAQ to answer all the questions you might have about the upcoming title.
Below, we will break down each of the questions and the answers that the devs gave so you know what to expect as the game’s release date approaches. Players who are hoping to be able to play Palworld by themselves and those who want to avoid microtransactions in their games are sure to be pleased with some of the info shared. Past posts have shown off in-game footage of Palworld and advice like not to overwork your pets.
In the X Post shared on the official Palworld X Page, the devs took it upon itself to answer five questions about the upcoming title. The questions are as follows:
Question One: “Can I play Palworld single-player?”
Answer: Yes! Palworld will be an offline game as well as an online game so you don’t need to worry about always needing to be online.
Question Two: “Are there any in-game payment elements?”
Answer: Nope! You only need to purchase the game once and there will be no microtransactions. This is a relief for sure.
Question Three: “Does Palworld have any connections to Web3 or Crypto?”
Answer: No. We aren’t sure why it would have a connection to Web3 or Crypto but thankful Palworld does not.
Question Four: “Is Palworld an MMO?”
Answer: Palworld isn’t an MMO and is instead built for servers of up to 32 players. Apparently, these servers will also be increased in size to allow more players to join one another.
Question Five: “Is Palworld real? Will it really be released?”
Answer: Yes. Palworld is a real game that will be released in January 2024 in early access. Of course, this date could change. For now, this is when we can expect the game to come out. Also, this feels like a jab at The Day Before which people have questioned since it was first shown off.
