Developer Pocket Pair has officially unveiled the early access roadmap for Palworld. We have a glimpse of what is to come and it has only been a few days since the game was released. Boy, Pocket Pair really likes to move fast. So what is to come for Palworld and what does the roadmap tell us?
If you have been living under a rock, Palworld is one of the most popular games to release on Steam and has exploded in popularity over the past few days, hitting milestones of over 7 million sales in record time. At first, many wrote this game off as nothing more than a Pokémon clone, going so far as to call it “Pokémon with guns.” This has since been proven false as it is a decent survival game with a lot to offer.
Palworld Roadmap content
Onto the roadmap, developer Pocket Pair has unveiled the future of Palworld and it is looking bright. First on the list is to tackle the critical issues the game has been having since its launch. These include some serious bugs that have affected multiplayer and some issues that have affected gameplay. Some of you might have seen Pals fly off into space like Team Rocket (only they don’t appear in the next episode).
After handling the big technical issues, the team will be hitting improvements such as key configuration improvements and AI pathing updates. These will go a long way to help the game where it currently stands. Finally, we have a list of planned future content. These updates include:
- PvP
- Raid Bosses
- Pal Arena
- Steam-Xbox crossplay
- Xbox feature improvements
- Server transfers
- Building system improvements
- New Islands
- New Pals
- New Bosses
- New Technologies
All of this sounds fantastic and we cannot wait to see what Pocket Pair has in store for Palworld in the future. PvP is a big feature that many fans have been asking for since before the game was even released. We have a feeling it will get very chaotic.
