PocketPair has hit Palworld with update v0.2.2.0. While many are happy about the changes applied, a large group of individuals is making it known that Xbox is still a hot mess filled with issues. The latest Palworld update fixed an issue where Pals were only dealing half damage. This came as a nice surprise and shocked many players as they realized they might have been defeating Bellanoir and other dangerous Pals while dealing only half their potential damage.
Of course, while part of the update did help, many Xbox users flooded to X and Reddit to share their dissatisfaction with the current state of the Xbox version of Palworld. On both the official Palworld X page and a post sharing the patch on Reddit, many shared issues currently affecting the game.
For starters, one user commented asking PocketPair to “please work on Xbox crashing best ya can, especially in dungeons,” That is one issue that has plagued Xbox users for a while. When they enter a dungeon, the game mysteriously crashes, causing them to restart. Since dungeons are a big part of the game, it is annoying that they must be ignored on the platform.
Another user commented asking, “Can anyone explain why my pals in multiplayer never attack?” This is another issue that has been affecting the console version of the game for a while. We covered this “can’t attack” issue over a month ago and Pocketpair has not done anything to remedy the situation. “Glad pals don’t jitter but if you could make this actually load without crashing on Xbox S that would be amazing,” commented another player.
All these issues affecting Xbox have soured the fanbase. If PocketPair doesn’t address them soon, the developer could see a drop in players on Xbox. Hopefully, these issues will be resolved before the release of the arena update later this year.
