PocketPair has officially unveiled its next big update for Palworld and it comes in the form of arena battles – a feature that many have wanted since the game’s release back in January. With a lack of PvP elements in the game, this is bound to be a welcome addition. Little information was shared about this new addition coming later this year but it already has fans excited.
When Palworld was released in early access, it saw a massive rise in players – topping over 2 million at one point. Since then, PocketPair has shared a roadmap detailing what its plans are for the game’s future. On that roadmap was Pal Arena – a PvP addition that many fans were hoping would be available sooner rather than later. It looks like fans will be getting their wish as a post on X has officially showcased the first clips of the upcoming update.
The clips do not reveal much about the upcoming game mode but they do reveal that players will be able to have their Pals go head-to-head with a friend’s. The Pal Tamers will also get to join in on the fun with all their guns, armor, and modifications. One player in the arena can even be seen commanding both a green Quivern and the new raid Pal named Bellanoir.
While the trailer for this game mode is a great starting point, there are still many questions left unanswered. For instance, many are wondering how the arena mode will work. Will there be separate servers involved? Will there be a set arena place on the map? These are questions fans have asked that need answers. Many were quick to bring back comparisons to Pokémon as has been a popular go-to since the game’s release. This time, many have stated that Pokémon Stadium 3 is coming along nicely. More answers about the Palworld Pal Arena update are sure to be dropping in the future so be sure to keep an eye on the X page.
