Fallout 76 has seen a massive increase in concurrent players thanks to the success of the Fallout TV show. With that being said, many are now wondering when the next update for the game will be and what the future of Fallout 76 looks like. All we know currently is that a future update will have a map expansion, allowing players to go to Skyline Valley. Fans are now calling on Microsoft CEO Phil Spencer to aid in the game’s development going forward. Maybe this way we will see more frequent story updates.
In a post on Reddit written by JxvFirm, they said “I hope that Phil Spencer looks at the success of F76 and decides to put more resources into developing F76.” That is something we think that everyone can get on board with. Many commented on the post, agreeing that they want more content.
A user commented, “They need to start implementing regular story-driven content.” They also said, “They need to flesh out the endings of faction side stories. I need to see what happens now with the brotherhood.” Another user said, “Wish there was more story content. Expeditions and the like just don’t do it for me in the same way.” The hype is there as one user pointed out in a post about the upcoming map expansion. Many agreed that they wanted to see the Fallout 76 map grow in size.
One user commented, “I would love for 76 to go the route similar to ESO in terms of map size. Let us go around America, bro.” We already have expeditions to locations such as The Pitt and Atlantic City so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see more of that in the future. To this, many commented that they would love expeditions to Florida. Many also said that they wanted to visit the Fallout 4 map once again to see what it was like before the events of the game. So come on Phil Spencer! Aid us in the development of the game!
