Do those pesky enemies in Pikmin 4 respawn? Throughout Pikmin 4, you will encounter many foes in both the overworld areas and in the various caves and caverns. There are many different types of enemies that you will eventually find and interact with, defeating them to earn extra Pikmin.
Your primary goals in Pikmin 4 are to find Captain Olimar and track down all of the castaways. Pikmin 4 – Do enemies respawn?
Only specific enemies respawn in Pikmin 4. You will find enemies in the overworld and in caves. Those that you find in the overworld of the different areas do not respawn. They instead remain dead until you pick them up and transfer them to the Pikmin Onion. Even if you complete an area with 100% completion, the enemies will remain defeated and nothing will respawn in the location. Thanks to this, you will want to be careful about how you spend your Pikmin if you rely on enemies to get more Pikmin.
Enemies that you find in caves only respawn after you have cleared the cave. Until you have completed the cave with 100% completion, the enemies in the cave will remain defeated. Afterward, they will respawn. Remember, to clear a dungeon, you must collect all of the treasures and any castaways.
Bosses will also respawn after you have completed a dungeon. Because of this, you can farm dungeons for materials and also rechallenge bosses to get extra Sparklium. Unfortunately, those enemies found in caves will only get you more Sparklium and cannot be used to get more Pikmin.
While enemies do not respawn, items like flowers with pellets do so you can continuously get more Pikmin if you need more of them.
