The older Pikmin games introduced many different types of adorable plant creatures to the world. Red Pikmin are great against fire. Blue Pikmin can swim through water. Yellow Pikmin are good for dealing with electricity. Rock Pikmin, on the other hand, are used for their ability to destroy.

Rock Pikmin are the toughest of all the Pikmin types and are great for breaking down barriers or destroying items that block your path. When you see a stone wall halting your progress, throw out some Rock Pikmin to quickly destroy it. Pikmin 4 has plenty of different Pikmin types in it, but are Rock Pikmin in Pikmin 4?

Pikmin 4 – Are there Rock Pikmin in the game?

Rock Pikmin have appeared in the trailers and will make an appearance in the game. To what extent this Pikmin type will be utilized is still undetermined but they can be seen breaking a wall at the end of the trailer from the June Nintendo Direct.

  • Red Pikmin
  • Yellow Pikmin
  • Blue Pikmin
  • Ice Pikmin
  • Glow Pikmin
  • Rock Pikmin
  • Purple Pikmin

Pikmin 4 is bound to have more Pikmin than the previous titles in the series. This will undoubtedly come with a wide range of possibilities for puzzles that will stump both new and returning players. Ice Pikmin are great for freezing water and foes while Glow Pikmin are used at night to help you take on more difficult threats such as frenzied enemies.
