Revealed via a simple post on the PlayStation blog, Hermen Hulst has declared that it is time for the first State of Play of 2024. While over 15 games are promised to be present, only two were specifically named: Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin. In addition, we will hear from “some of the most talented minds in gaming.” Other titles are only mentioned to be coming to PS5 and PS VR2 throughout the rest of this year and further out.

The last State of Play took place in September and was where we got the final release date for the upcoming Final Fantasy 7: Remake and a deep look at Spider-Man 2. Current titles rumored to be shown here include Death Stranding 2, Silent Hill 2 Remake, Judas, and a new Metro game. Other likely titles to be shown are Helldivers 2 and Concord.

The show will begin at 5 p.m. EST on Wednesday and will be hosted on PlayStations YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok accounts.
