O.P. Neon Games, a solo game developer from Malaysia, released TCG Card Shop Simulator in September 2024 in early access. Since its release, TCG Card Shop Simulator has sold over 3 million copies and is preparing a 1.0 announcement in the near future. To hold players over in the meantime, TCG Card Shop Simulator is adding tournaments and a camera mode to the game today.
Rising Through the Ranks
Tournament mode in TCG Card Shop Simulator will transform your humble in-game card shop into a full-fledged battleground. To get the competition started, players can use the newly implemented tournament app to control all aspects of the game. You’ll be able to set the stakes of your tournament, ranging from the tournament size, entry fees, play tables, and much more.

Players must also take into account the desirability of your grand prize and your entry fees, which will dictate how quickly players sign up for open slots. Once registration is full, the tournament will kick off the following day. Upon opening, players will automatically find their opponents and begin their quest for glory and rise through the ranks. Once a winner is crowned, they will accept their prize in front of your newly established tournament prize shelf, giving you a true sense of accomplishment as a shop owner.
Smile for the camera

Shop owners all around the world have sunk countless hours into TCG Card Shop Simulator and meticulously crafted every aspect of their shop’s interior design. This new update will add a camera mode via your in-game phone, which will allow you to show off your perfectly stocked shelves. All pictures taken will be saved to an in-game gallery, which will then allow you to build out a portfolio of your store’s hallmark moments.
