The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo is officially here. Well, at least the first part of it is. With another part dropping later in February, there are bound to be many who are searching high and low in the first act of the demo. You might be wondering what all Materia are in the first part of the demo. Well, there is a fair amount.

Materia is your main source of magic in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Depending on what Materia you are using, you will get different effects. These can be new abilities, magic spells, or even just increases to your stats. So what all Materia are in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo?

Every Materia in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo

There’s a fair amount of Materia to find in the demo. In total, you can track down 12 different Materia to try out. While we don’t know if all of these will appear in the final game in this area, we do know that they are fun to mess around with. The following are in the demo:

Empowerment MateriaAllows you to use physical and magic attack-strengthening spells.
Pairing with warding Materia grants resistance to physical and magic attack reduction.

Level Boost MateriaIncreases the level of the linked Materia by one.
Has no effect when paired with Materia at maximum level.

Magnify MateriaAllows you to expand the range of spells with the linked Materia.
To switch back to a single target, press L1 when selecting a spell.

Synergy MateriaAllows an ally to follow the leader’s attack command with an attack from linked materia.Junon
Chakra MateriaAllows you to restore your own HP and cure Poison with Chakra.
The amount restored is relative to damage received – the lower your HP, the more that is restored.

Morph MateriaAllows you to turn enemies into items with Morph.
Enemies whose health has fallen below a certain amount can be defeated in this fashion.

Spare Change MateriaAllows you to consume gil to damage enemies with Spare Change.
The more gil you throw, the more damage you will deal to your targets.

First Strike MateriaIncreases how full the ATB gauge is at the start of battle. Junon
Ramuh MateriaAllows you to summon Ramuh.Junon

As you can see, there are a fair number of Materia that you can use in the demo. Make sure to give each of them a try on the different characters when the full game is released. Remember, you can check your Materia by going to the main menu and then selecting the inventory option. From there, you can choose to look at your Materia page.
