Are you trying to leave your camp in Baldur’s Gate 3? Your camp is a sacred location that allows you to take a short or long rest and store your resources. There is nothing more useful than a place devoid of enemies, especially when you are trying to survive in the Forgotten Realms.
It doesn’t take long for you to get access to your campsite in Baldur’s Gate 3. After getting through the prologue, you will crash land in the Material Plane. After this, you will be allowed to head to your campsite with any allies you may have in your party. Of course, once you reach your camp, you will need to figure out how to leave which isn’t made obvious. This guide will show you how to leave camp in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3 – How to leave camp
If you want to leave camp in Baldur’s Gate 3, you need to access your map. This is done by pressing the M key. With your map pulled up, you will see the option to fast travel to any of the waypoints that you have unlocked. You can either select one of the waypoints or, if you haven’t unlocked any, you can select the leave camp option.

Selecting this option will transport you back to where you teleported to your camp from. Selecting a different waypoint will teleport you to that waypoint. Note that you can’t leave your camp at night. If you try to fast travel out of your camp while nighttime is present, no teleportation options will appear.
Because of this, you will need to wait until morning or take a long rest. Taking a long rest will automatically teleport you out of your campsite and back to where you were before going to your camp. Remember, taking a long rest will also consume camping supplies so think before you choose this option.
