The best way to play The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is with friends. What better way to survive than with the people you would jump into any other game with? Unfortunately, the crossplay situation for this game is a little lacking depending on what system you are playing on. Here is how to enable crossplay in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game.
How to turn on crossplay in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game
Unfortunately, if you are playing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will not have access to crossplay. You can only play with others on the same console as you. If you are on a PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X, you can play across platforms with players on any of those hardware platforms.
By default, crossplay should be enabled in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game on current-gen systems. If you are having problems with it on PC and PlayStation 5, go to Options and open the Game tab. There should be an option for Crossplay to turn on. On Xbox Series X or S, this is wholly dependent on your console settings. If you can play crossplay on other games, don’t worry about it. If you turned it off in the past, go to Settings, Account, Privacy & online safety, Xbox privacy, and make sure that Allow is chosen under You can join cross-network play in the Communication & multiplayer section.
For those still having problems playing with others, there may be server issues for you to figure out. Adding people on other platforms will rely on you giving them a password and them inputting it to join. For any further issues, you should contact the Support page for the game directly.
