How to get Shellac in Skull and Bones
Shellac can be found in the East Indies in the northwestern part of the map. To reach this area, you will need to cross the open seas. We recommend waiting until you have a ship ranked six or higher before making this journey because of how treacherous it can be.
Once you reach this region, look for ships and merchants that are carrying Shellac. You will mostly find this material on Rempah Merchant Ships in the northeast. There are a few trading routes in the area that have these ships. Be sure to use your spyglass to figure out which ships are carrying the material.

Outside of destroying other vessels, you can purchase Shellac from merchants. Purchasing this material will cost you around 375 Silver and you can typically only buy one per merchant that you visit. Since there are four merchants in the area that sell this item, you will only be able to get four at any one time using this method for a total of 1,500 Silver.
