Does Botrick appear in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? In Breath of the Wild, this NPC was largely seen as a tribute to Nintendo’s beloved former president, Satoru Iwata, who passed away during the game’s development. They share a similar look, and Botrick would give hints to find the mystical Satori. With all of this established, is Botrick in Tears of the Kingdom?
Where is Botrick in Tears of the Kingdom?
The Satoru Iwata-inspired NPC Botrick is in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That said, you will have to find him during a side quest. At the Gerudo Canyon Pass, you can find Quince, who will give you the mission “Disaster in Gerudo Canyon.” His group of friends have all gone missing, and Link needs to find them.

Nintendo adds new rewards for Tears of the Kingdom
After you talk to him, move into the canyon and go straight forward to find the Stalry Plateau Cave. Defeat the Lizalfos in here and talk to Botrick to save him and have him return to safety. After you find the other two friends, you can return to Quince and be rewarded with ten Bomb Flowers.
After you receive your reward, Botrick and the others set out on the road again. As of this writing, we do not know exactly where he and the rest of the group hang out after Disaster in Gerudo Canyon. At the very least, we are glad to know he is okay and alive.
