Laura Bailey as Grace
Grace is the main protagonist of Stray Gods. A mortal woman whose life is turned upside down when, by a cruel twist of fate, she becomes a god — called Idols in this game. She’s played by Laura Bailey, famous for playing roles like Lust in Fullmetal Alchemist, Fiona in Tales from the Borderlands, Abby Anderson in The Last of Us II, and of course, as a main cast member of the TTRPG live play web series Critical Role.
Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Persephone
Persephone is the unfriendly club owner of the Underworld, an Idol-friendly bar where fellow godly folk can cut loose. However, while Persephone creates safe spaces, she herself does not partake in them. Mary Elizabeth McGlynn plays this role. As a voice actress, McGlynn is best known for her roles in Mobile Suit Gundam, Code Geass, Sailor Moon Crystal, Silent Hill 2, and Tekken.
Troy Baker as Apollo
Apollo is the heartbroken god of prophecies. He has a mysterious relationship with the Muse, Calliope, before her death. The man who plays this moody God is Troy Baker. Baker has played a wide range of famous video game roles, such as Joel Miller in The Last of Us, Booker DeWitt from Bioshock: Infinite, and Rhys Strongfork from Tales from The Borderlands.
Janina Gavankar as Freddie
Unlike much of the rest of Stray Gods’ cast, Freddie is Grace’s college best friend and a mortal. She is played by Janina Gavankar. Gavanker’s most well-known roles include Iden Versio of Star Wars canon, Papi from The L Word, and Luna Garza in True Blood.
Khary Payton as Pan
Pan is a cryptic and somewhat dubious God who helps Grace out in Stray Gods… for a favor. His actor, Khary Payton, is far less eerie. Khary Payton has starred in roles like King Ezekial from The Walking Dead. For DC fans, they’ll also be familiar with Payton’s work as Kaldur’ahm/Aqualad in Young Justice, Cyborg in Teen Titans, and more.
Abubakar Salim as Eros
In a game about Greek gods and love, of course, Eros has to play a role. The person playing Eros is Abubakar Salim. Salim’s acting credits include Father in Raised by Wolves as well as Bayek of Siwa in Assassin’s Creed: Origins.
Felicia Day as Athena
In Stray Gods, Athena plays an unsettling role as the justice-focused leader of the Chorus. Her voice actor is Felicia Day, a well-known name in voice acting and in scifi/fantasy circles. An infamous monster of legend, Stray Gods brings a new perspective to this character. The voice actor for Minotaur is Rahul Kohli. As an actor, Kohli is a supernatural darling, playing roles like Dr. Ravi Chakrabati in iZombie, Owen Sharma in Haunting of Bly Manor, and Sherriff Hassan in Midnight Mass.
Allegra Clark as Hecate
Hecate is the goddess of witchcraft, a perfect deity for the urban world of lesbian witches. In Stray Gods, Hecate is played by Allegra Clark, a video game voice-acting vet. Fans might have heard her as Beidou in Genshin Impact, Dorothea in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Josephine Montilyet in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Merle Dandridge as Aphrodite

Erika Ishii as Hermes
The young and playful God himself, Hermes is the first Idol Grace meets once she becomes a god. The voice actor behind Hermes is Erika Ishii. They have voiced other video game characters like Valkyrie from Apex Legends and Ruth Dzeng in Cyberpunk 2077. Many fans will also recognize them as a web-series actor from Game Changer, Dimension 20, Critical Role, L.A. by Night, and more.
Ashley Johnson as Calliope
In Stray Gods, Calliope is the Idol who started it all. She finds Grace’s singing and is impressed. She’s played by Ashley Johnson, known for playing Ellie in the Last of Us, Gortys in Tales from The Borderlands, Gwen Tennyson in Ben 10, Terra on Teen Titans, and as a main cast member of Critical Role.
Lauren ‘Lolo’ Spencer as Venus

Anjali Bhimani as Medusa

Anthony Rapp as Orpheus
Orpheus is the infamous musician who tired to save his lover from the Underworld, only to lose them at the last second. In Stray Gods, Anthony Rapp plays this heartbreaking character.
