How many people can play Minecraft Legends at a time? The original game is well-known for letting multiple people hop into a world and build to their heart’s content, but the rules are a little different here. While you can collect resources and build certain structures, this is a strategy game focused on one team overcoming the other. Here is how many people can play Minecraft Legends at a time.

How many people can be in a lobby in Minecraft Legends?

Minecraft Legends lets up to four people play together on a team at a time, either in the game’s PvP or PvE. If you are playing the campaign, you can work alongside three others to take down various Piglin forces as you get through the story. On the PvP side, matches are set up to be 4v4. Technically, you could play a private match with seven other people, but only four can be on a team at once.

As noted above, Minecraft Legends is built quite differently from the original Minecraft. Whereas in that game, you can set up servers with dozens of players, or at the very least eight in a console game, four is the maximum team size here, regardless of platform. That is because the generated worlds you play in are not nearly as large as the ones you see in the original game. They may seem big and give you a lot of room to run around, but they are not like the infinite worlds you see in the regular game.

Minecraft Legends will force you into learning to play together if you aim to be successful. Working alone and not having a plan doesn’t work well for your long-term growth.
