How to turn off the narrator in Minecraft Legends

Are you sick and tired of the narrator in Minecraft Legends? Accessibility options are very nice for those players that need them, but for others, they can sometimes be a nuisance. When you first boot up Minecraft Legends, you are brought to a screen where the narrator is active and will read everything that pops up on the screen. This feature, while nice, has the downside of being rather annoying to listen to. It would be better if the voice wasn’t a robot, but we can get into that later. This guide will show you how to turn off the narrator in Minecraft Legends.

How to turn off text to speech in Minecraft Legends

Thankfully, while the feature activates when you turn the game on, you can easily switch it off by following a few simple steps. Before you know it, the narrator will be a thing of the past. This can be done from the main menu or while you are in the game. Start by selecting the settings option at the bottom of the menu. If you are in the game, you will need to bring up the menu first. This is done by pressing the options or start button on a controller or the ESC key on PC.

Once you are in the settings menu, select the accessibility option at the top of the screen. Once you are in this menu, look for the option that says text to speech. Click on the switch next to this option to turn it off or on. Once it is turned off, the narrator will disappear and you will no longer need to listen to the robotic voice tell you everything that it sees on screen. You can now go back to enjoying the game in peace with your friends.
