While Lethal Company is a ton of fun, it’s not really a game you want to play by yourself. For the best experience, we recommend playing with as many friends as possible. That being said, the game traditionally only supports up to four players in one lobby. Luckily, there is a very handy mod that can let you have up to eight players for a truly chaotic time. Here is how to use the More Company mod for Lethal Company.

How to install the More Company mod

Before we get the More Company mod installed, download the r2modman mod manager to make it easier to manage your installed mods. When that is installed, right-click the Zip folder you downloaded and select Extract All… When that is ready, go into the newly extracted folder, double-click the r2modman Setup application, and follow the installation process.

When it is ready, run r2modman and search for Lethal Company. Select the game, and it will load up available mods for the game. If this is your first time doing this, create a profile called Lethal Company when that menu pops up, and then select it.

More Company requires BepInExPack so you will need to install that first. Your profile should say it has no mods, so select Online on the left. BepInExPack will be pinned at the top. Once that is ready, find and download MoreCompany.

After both of those are installed, you can select Start modded in the top left corner of the screen to play the game. The title screen should read More Company if everything is working right. Of course, you can install more mods if you want, but make sure you select the Associated button under each one to see if they require another mod to run.
