The Warbonds for Helldivers 2 have been pretty hit or miss each month depending on which player you ask and what patch has been released. For instance, the Democratic Detonation Warbond was well received until the team at Arrowhead messed with the crossbow and the Eruptor. Now many have turned their backs on the once-great weapons. The latest Warbond, Polar Patriots, however, is off to a rocky start and it shows that Arrowhead dropped the ball with this one. At least, that is according to multiple players.

The new ice-themed Warbond was put on blast on Reddit for multiple reasons. For starters, user TheQuixotic6 pointed out that the new boots that have obvious cleats, don’t even work on ice. Instead, you still slip around like you would with normal boots. One user commented, “I don’t understand why they would release a snow/ice themed Warbond and not have the armors provide any advantages in snow/ice.”

Ice cleat boots for the new armor doesn’t work on ice, that would have been kind of neat.

Another user responded, “Because this Warbond is extremely lazily put together to the point where one of the guns isn’t even textured right and has worse stats than the gun it is supposed to have higher stopping power than.” Many stated that they believe the Warbonds are getting pushed out too quickly. We talked about this before where a large number of players believe that Arrowhead should take a break from putting out new Warbonds and fix what is in the game.

This has to be an old version, this can’t be real.

User Lucatlel_of_M1rrah pointed out that the new AR-61 Tenderizer seems to be a weaker version of the AR-23 Liberator. At this point, why would you even choose to you something other than the Liberator? One user who tested the weapon said, “After testing these stats are 100% accurate. The gun does the exact same damage and has the same breakpoints as the base Liberator.” We will restate the title here but it really does seem like Arrowhead dropped the ball with this Warbond.
