Where do you want Fallout 5 to be set? Countless places have been called out but one has risen above the rest; Nashville. As one post says, “Atomic river boats, Gatorclaws, blues, and boom. Perfect Fallout 5.” Since this post went live, Bethesda has been getting word from fans that they want the next game to be set in Nashville. Even the city of Nashville has gotten involved with the story getting a run in the local paper.
On April 16, 2024, TheManlet_King on X posted their take on the next Fallout game. The post reads, “Put it in Memphis and have a Ghoul in [a] silver mask like King Baldwin rule from the Bass Pro Pyramid.” Little did they know that this post would spark a desire in fans that could not be contained. Soon, fans started bombarding Bethesda about this idea. This isn’t a new idea as user ClerkWildfire posted about a similar idea back in June 2022.

While the original post didn’t get much traction, TheManlet_King’s skyrocketed the idea into a viral sensation. After the bombardment of requests began, the user responded on X by saying “Bethesda is getting bombarded on multiple social media platforms because of me. Even a local Memphis news site (The Daily Memphian) featured this.”
TheManlet_King continued the post with various ideas of what could be included in the next Fallout game should it take place in Nashville. For starters, they suggest the following factions be in the game:
- Bass Pro Pharaoh
- Athenian LARPers from Nashville
- Neo Cherokee Nation
- Chicago Chapter Brotherhood of Steel
They also suggested there be the Kings of Graceland, a river-based gang, and a German-style group that are all considered minor factions. On top of this, they suggested there be an NPC with a think Lousiana accent who runs a slave gang. Many users commented on the post saying they want this game now and they are willing to pay for it.

TheManlet_King has since continued posting by saying they will cut a deal with Bethesda. Manlet_King stated, “They can have ALL OF MY ideas as presented as long as I can voice The Ghoul and they cut me a fat check for $100,000. Full license. It’s theirs now. I’ll even sit down and consult with them.” So what are you waiting for Bethesda? Will you give the people what they want?
