Earlier this week, South Park aired a new episode on Comedy Central, and it heavily featured Grand Theft Auto 6, giving viewers a fresh look at the game. And we can confirm the footage used within the episode was real, seeing how Rockstar themselves were thanked within the credits of the episode.
Footage Even Hanky Would Love

In this brand new episode, Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Randy Marsh are seen sitting around a table where a woman is showing gameplay to the crowd. Within that gameplay, a dog is seen defecating on the beach. The player then picks up the materials left behind by the dog and proceeds to throw something at another NPC. When that character turns around towards Jason, he hits them over the head with the waste.
While this isn’t an earth-shattering reveal, the segment shown fits very well within the world of South Park. The show also continuously references how “things will get better” in America after Grand Theft Auto 6 is released, clearly playing off the hype this game has amassed. This small reference should serve as a prime example of just how big this release is shaping up to be for not only Rockstar, but the world at large.
Marketing Magic
Rockstar clearly knows what they have on their hands when it comes to Grand Theft Auto 6, not only as an ordinary game, but as a true moment in pop culture. It’s hard to even believe that we are just mere weeks away from that November 19th release date, and Rockstar’s marketing campaign will only grow stronger if you could believe that. From taking over the streets of Miami and turning it into a makeshift Vice City, and now becoming the focus of one of television’s most beloved shows, Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming, and it can’t come any faster.
