After over a decade of waiting, Diablo fans will finally be able to play Diablo 4. On June 6, everyone will be able to download this long-awaited Blizzard title. However, some fans will be able to play a little earlier. If you’re one of the lucky players with early access, you get to play the game for a couple of days before everyone else joins in. However, when exactly does the thrilling Diablo 4 early access begin?

When can you start playing Diablo 4 early access?

Diablo 4’s early access period begins on June 1 or June 2, depending on your time zone. As far as US players are concerned, the game will be available to download at 4 p.m PT, 5 p.m MT, 6 p.m CT, and 7 p.m EST on June 1. If you are from Europe and beyond, though, the game isn’t available until 12 a.m or later on June 2.

When you initially log in to Diablo 4, be aware that it may take some time to get into the game. Diablo servers are notorious for having long queues and buggy log-ins, especially on day one. Even though this is an early access period, there are still more than enough players to slow you down. Either you’ll have to accept being patient or you might have to wait a day or two for the server rush to calm down.

How do you get Diablo 4 Early Access?

If you don’t have early access to Diablo 4 yet but are interested, you’re in luck. You can still get your hands on early access. All you have to do is pre-order the game. There are three different versions of Diablo 4 available for pre-order:

  • Basic– $70 and comes with some pre-purchase bonuses, but no early access
  • Digital Deluxe– $90 and comes with a premium seasonal battle pass, mount, mount armor, and the four-day early access
  • Ultimate– $100 and comes with all pre-purchase bonuses as well as the four-day early access

When Diablo is your favorite franchise, sometimes that extra cash is worth it. However, if you don’t want to pay $20+ more for early access, you’ll just have to wait for Diablo 4 to come out on June 6.
