For some people, puzzles are the reason that they get into a game. They love to challenge their mind and find ways to get past any obstacle in their way. However, that is not a universally shared experience between players. Some just want to get into the combat or enjoy a story. In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you will be faced with a couple of different puzzles you could possibly view as a complete waste of time. Can you skip puzzles in Spider-Man 2?

How to skip puzzles in Spider-Man 2

In Spider-Man 2’s story, there will be moments where the game will present you with either a tile or a 3D molecule puzzle. Fortunately, you can skip these puzzles in Spider-Man 2 without any penalty to you. To do this, just pause the game and select skip on the menu. The game will instantly go past the puzzle as if you solved it.

With the ability to skip these puzzles, you only miss out on a very minimal part of Spider-Man 2. Some people might argue why they would even be included if you can just pass over them, and the reasoning is likely to do with variety. The original Spider-Man game that Insomniac developed also had some puzzles that really played no role in the game other than to be something different at that moment. In this case, if you either don’t like the puzzles or get stuck on them, you can get back to your favorite parts of the game quickly.

The real magic of Spider-Man 2 is its fast and loose open world traversal, great-feeling combat, and intriguing storytelling. There are all kinds of side content for you to experience as you travel across this version of New York City.
