To get Brightbloom Seeds, you will need to search the various caves around Hyrule. Brightbloom Seeds are actually a very common material around the land of Hyrule and can be found in most caves.
When you go into a cave, search the walls and ceiling. You will typically spot Brightbloom Seeds in these areas. You will also occasionally receive them as a reward or defeating enemies though that is rarer. You can also get Giant Brightbloom Seeds which offer more light than their small counterparts.
How to use Brightbloom Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom
To use Brightbloom Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom, you will want to start by holding down the R button. This will ready your weapon to be thrown. While doing this, hold up on the D-pad. This will bring up the materials menu.
With your materials list up, use the right stick to choose what item you wish to throw. Select the Brightbloom Seed and then let go of the R button to throw the Brightbloom Seed. When it hits a surface, it will start to glow for a long period of time.
You can also shoot Brightbloom Seeds by attaching them to your arrows when aiming. While aiming your bow, simply hold up on the D-pad and use the right stick to choose the Brightbloom Seed. This will allow you to fire a Brightbloom Seed at a far distance.
