Disney Dreamlight Valley is full of materials, ingredients, and items for you to discover. When you want to craft something, you need to track down the materials required. Sometimes, these materials include gemstones and there are plenty to search for. One such gemstone you can get is Spinel – a magnificent ruby rock.
Like most gemstones, you can only find Spinel in a specific location. Just like with getting Alexandrite, this might take you a while to obtain. Of course, you can make things easier by bringing along a friend or resident to help you out. This guide will show you how to get Spinel in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to find Spinel in Disney Dreamlight Valley
If you want to get Spinel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will need to go to Eternity Isle. Once there, you can find Spinel by going to The Grove and The Promenade sections of the Wild Tangle biome. The Grove is the area where Rapunzel’s Tower is located and The Promenade is the bamboo-covered area next to it.
Neither of these areas is available right away when you start the Rift in Time DLC. Instead, you will need to spend a good amount of Mist to unlock both areas. The two areas will cost around 10,000 Mist to unlock. Be sure to save up as much as you can so you can get your hands on this gemstone.
Spinel is used for a few quests in Eternity Isle. One such quest is The Housewarming which is given to you by Rapunzel after raising her friendship level to level two. This gemstone is also used in the following crafting recipes:

Be sure to save up any Spinel that you find. If you want to increase your chances of getting this gem, be sure to bring a resident with the mining role with you when you go to search for it.
