There is no shortage of resources to find in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Whether you need it for crafting, gifts, or quests, you need to know where to look to find these items. In Eternity Isle, there are new biomes for you to walk around and find these resources, including some useful wood. Here is how to get Tropical Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time.
Where to find Tropical Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time
To get Tropical Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time, you will need to venture to the Grasslands section of the Wild Tangle. While in this area, look at the base of trees to find the Tropical Wood on the ground. The more trees you have, the more Tropical Wood you can potentially find. Round up some friends and go hunting for it.
Note: at the launch of the Rift in Time expansion, there is a known bug where Tropical Wood doesn’t respawn after you pick it up. The developers are working on a fix, but in the meantime, try restarting the game and check your mailbox. There should be a package in there including 220 Tropical Wood. You can also get some Tropical Wood from Rapunzel’s first friendship quest.
When looking for the Tropical Wood, keep your eyes open for orangish-brown sticks lying on the ground. They stick out pretty well from the grass, so you shouldn’t have any issues spotting them when they spawn. Outside of the bug listed above, Tropical Wood should respawn intermittently throughout the Grasslands at the base of trees after some time.

After you get some Tropical Wood, consider using it to craft a Papasan Swing Chair, Shallow Orange Basket, Leafy Trellis’, or Tropical Wood Floor. Later on, you will be able to get more Tropical Wood by destroying the evil plants with your Watering Can. This becomes available during the Village Project Timeless Trash quest.
