Helldivers 2 has been the subject of many talks since The Game Awards. At the award ceremony, the team announced that the Illuminate would be joining the fray before dropping the latest update for Helldivers 2. This update brought in the Illuminate and to many players’ surprise, a vehicle known as the Fast Reconnaissance Vehicle or FRV. Players have been asking about this for a long time, but it was unfortunately bound to urban map. This has officially changed, however, because, with the completion of the latest Helldivers 2 MO, players can now use the FRV against bugs and bots.
Helldivers 2 recently had a collaboration with Killzone. Unfortunately, many thought the crossover items were overpriced, prompting CEO Shams Jorjani to admit that the team “missed the mark.” Soon after this statement, the Helldivers 2 team announced that the second half of the Helldivers 2 and Killzone collaboration would be given out “free of charge.”
The FRV is now available in Helldivers 2
The latest MO had players repel the Illuminate from Achernar Secundus. Since this was completed, players now have access to the Fast Reconnaissance Vehicle. Community manager Baskinator announced the stratagem unlock earlier today saying, “Production of the Fast Reconnaissance Vehicle (FRV) has resumed. The vehicle will soon be available for fleetwide requisition. Significantly, millions of colonists are also now safe. The FRV stratagem is now available for players to purchase using requisition for use vs both bots and bugs”
Players can now purchase the FRV stratagem using requisition slips. After purchasing the stratagem, players will be able to use it against bots and bugs as well as the Illuminate. The price for the new stratagem is 25,000 req slips which is fairly high but well worth the price considering it is the first vehicle in the game.
