There is a new build update that is scheduled soon for Helldivers 2. While we don’t know much about this update, we do know that it will bring in the Airburst Rocket Launcher since that is the Stratagem the players chose in the latest major order. The update will also fix the issues that players are currently having with the Airburst Rocket Launcher since it seems to have a mind of its own thanks to the proximity trigger.
With all that being said, we have a bit more clarity as to what will get updated in the coming patch. Community manager Spitzer let everyone know via the Helldivers 2 Discord server that the upcoming update will tweak “24 different weapons and stratagems.” This is a surprising number of stratagems and weapons that are being worked on. While we don’t know all of the weapons, we do know that the Airburst Rocket Launcher is among them.
Spitzer went on to say that they are “really excited for the next build.” They also said that “there’s a lot of balance changes and fixes that have been requested for a while. This is great news for those who have been playing over the course of the past few months. There are a lot of bugs that need to be addressed from insane fire damage to server issues and more. Hopefully, we will see a fix to most of the issues plaguing the game in its current build.
Many have suggested changes to Helldivers 2. For instance, one player requested that there be a change to the auto-vault system since players often vault over resupply crates. Another player suggested that the devs look into adding a shooting range so that Helldivers can check out weapons before purchasing them.
