There is nothing like a fresh cup of Brahmin Milk in the morning in the wastelands of Appalachia. In Fallout 76, everything is there to help you survive, you just need to know how to get it. Everything from food and drinks to drugs and ammo can be found scattered about the wasteland if you know where to look.
There are other creatures in Appalachia that can be difficult to locate such as Opossums. Of course, if you are looking to survive out in the wild, you will need an occasional drink. Sometimes spring water won’t cut it and you need something a little more farm-fresh. Here is how to milk Brahmin in Fallout 76.
Where to find Brahmin in Fallout 76
Brahmin are fairly easy to come by in Fallout 76. In fact, you can find two or three of them near the start of the game in Flatwoods. After that, you can find more Brahmin around farms. There are numerous farms around Appalachia with most of them appearing on the western side of the map. This will be where you will find most of the Brahmin in the game.
Fallout 76 – How to milk Brahmin
If you want to get your hands on some Brahmin Milk in Fallout 76, you will need to track down a few Brahmin. This can be difficult depending on where you look but you shouldn’t have too much trouble since Brahmin spawn in many locations around Appalachia. Check the following areas for Brahmin:
- Flatwoods
- The Wayward
- Big Bend Tunnel East
- Pleasant Valley Station
- Anchor Farm
- Lewis & Sons Farming Supply
- Foundation
You can also find Brahmin during the Free Range event and they will sometimes spawn as a part of a random encounter. Once you find a Brahmin. walk up to it and press the interact button when you see the ‘milk’ prompt. On PlayStation, this is the X button. On Xbox, this is the A button. Finally, on PC, this is the E key.
Doing this will get you up to five Brahmin Milk. Of course, there is always a chance that you won’t get any and the Brahmin will simply run away. You can only milk a Brahmin once per day so you can’t perform the action multiple times in a row. You can always find Brahmin in Flatwoods, making it easy to get the milk. This is also an area where you can find Mongrels and Canines in Fallout 76.
What is Brahmin Milk used for in Fallout 76?
If you want to make good use of your milk, you can do so by creating the following food and drink items:
- Fasnacht Donut
- Pepperoni Roll
- S’mores
- Tato Salad
- White Russian
Of course, you will need to make sure that you collect the other ingredients required for each of the meals and drinks on the list.
