AJ Styles is one of the top WWE superstars on the roster. Whether he’s wrestling solo, teaming with the OC’s Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and “Michin” Mia Yim, or flying off the top rope with his signature move, he’s certainly earned the name the Phenomenal One. One PUBG player got to find out the hard way how legit AJ is. Not in the ring but in the battle royale game.
In a recent post, PUBG player NERO, whose bio says they are a “Big AJ Styles Fan”, posted a photo showing them knocked down in PUBG by someone they believed was Styles. It was later revealed by the phenom that it was indeed him. Styles simply reposted the image with the single word “Yep!”
Styles has been absent from the WWE for months. Last December it was revealed he broke his ankle, which thankfully does not require surgery. It’s the longest the superstar has been missing from the ring since first appearing on the official roster during the 2016 Royal Rumble. Styles is an avid gamer, having appeared on several episodes of the show UpUpDownDown hosted by WWE superstar Xavier Woods. He’s even got his own show on the channel called Retro Styles where he searches for and plays rare retro video games.
