Helldivers 2 has always been on a rollercoaster when it comes to its patches. Just when you think one thing is fixed, something else breaks entirely, causing constant crashes. Helldivers 2 patch 01.000.403 is the latest one to hit the game and it provides fixes for some series issues players were having. Specifically, this patch tackles crashes caused by players using the FAF-14 Spear along with a bunch of other general fixes. So let’s get into the patch notes and see what the latest Helldivers 2 patch provides to the players.

Helldivers 2 patch 01.000.403 notes

The following fixes and changes were made with patch 01.000.403:

  • General
    • Japanese Language Voice-Overs are now available globally on PS5 (also on PC).
  • Fixes:
    • Fix for crash happening when players with unique hellpod patterns leave during hellpod launch cutscenes.
    • Crash fix while aiming with the Spear.
    • Fixed corrupted text showing “?” for some characters when having Traditional Chinese language selected.
    • Fix for Plasma Punisher being unable to shoot out of the SH-32 Shield Generator Pack and the FX-12 Shield Generator.
    • Fixed so the Quasar cannon has the correct change to its heat when on hot and cold planets.
    • Fixed issue where Spore Spewer would appear purple on certain planets.
    • Fixed some cases where pink question marks would appear in missions on various planets.
    • Fixed Peak Physique armor passive not properly affecting weapon ergonomics.
    • Fixed issue where available Operations were reset after player reconnected from getting kicked due to inactivity.

The patch notes are quite short as there isn’t much that it does to help players in the game versus previous patches. Unfortunately, there is no fix yet for the Ballistic Shield but that should be on the list to take care of in the near future.

Along with the patch notes, Arrowhead provided a list of known issues that the devs are tackling. This includes issues such as sending friend requests using a friend code not working and deployed mines sometimes turning invisible.
