Those familiar with the critically acclaimed fantasy TTRPG Dragonbane from Free League Publishing will be excited to hear about a new adventure. Path of Glory is currently available for pre-order and will be officially released in June. In celebration of this launch, the core Dragonbane box set is currently 20% off for a week.
This is not the first time Path of Glory has come to the game table. It was initially released for the original Swedish edition of Dragonbane. Its original release spanned three volumes titled The Dead Forest, Gates of Power, and Heart of Darkness across 1985 and 1986.
With Path of Glory’s new release comes a refresh of the adventure more in line with current TTRPG standards. It is being released as a single adventure instead of three, and the original author Roger Undhagen is at the helm of this update. All of the rules have been updated to comply with the latest edition of Dragonbane. All illustrations are new, done by artist David Brasgalla, and the new cover has been completed by artist Johan Egerkrans. The new edition includes a beautiful double-sided map painted by Francesca Baerald.
Coming to the legendary Dead Forest in search of treasure, glory and a solution to the ancient curse laying waste to the forest, the adventurers soon find themselves embroiled in an epic conflict reaching back to the very foundations of the world.
