What are the Melody Bay Music Puzzle solutions in Super Mario RPG? There are plenty of puzzles to discover but not many are as confusing as the Super Mario RPG Tadpole Song Puzzle. This puzzle will have you testing your musical knowledge by jumping on tadpoles to create songs. This is all for Toadofsky who will give you juice bar cards in return.

There are three different songs that you can play for Toadofsky. Each song will get you a different card in return. Before starting your musical journey, be sure to collect the Bandit’s Way Hidden Treasure so you don’t miss anything. This guide will show you how to solve the Super Mario RPG Tadpole Song Puzzle.

How to solve the Super Mario RPG Tadpole Song Puzzle – All Melody Bay Music Options

As stated above, there are three solutions to the Melody Bay music puzzle in Super Mario RPG. Each solution will come in at a different point in the game. Below, we will break down the three songs, where you can find them, and what rewards you get from Toadofsky. Keep in mind that the area is laid out like sheet music and the tadpoles are the notes.

Melody Bay song #1 – Frog Sage’s Suite No. 18

The first song on the list is Frog Sage’s Suit No. 18. To find this song, talk to the Tadpole that is to the right of the entrance to Melody Bay leading to the composer. This tadpole will give you the song by telling you the notes “So La Mi Re Do Re Do Re.” Play this for the composer and you will get the first of the rewards, the Alto Card.

Melody Bay Song #2 – Moleville Blues

The second song on the list will earn you the Tenor Card. This song is called Moleville Blues and it can be found by saving Dyna and Mite in Moleville. Once you have completed this step of the game, you can return to Toadofsky to play this melody.

Melody Bay Song #3 – Monstro Town Star Song

The final song on the list will get you the Soprano Card and is called the Monstro Town Star song. To obtain this song, interact with the star on the second floor of Monstermama’s House in Monstro Town. Once you have completed this and have completed the previous two songs, return to Toadofsky to play the final melody.

What to do with the Alto, Tenor, and Soprano Cards in Super Mario RPG

Each of the cards obtained from Toadofsky can be used to get more items from the Juice Bar. If you bring them to the Tadpole running the juice bar, you will get the following extra items added to the menu:

  • Alto Card – Tadpola Cola, Frogleg Cola
  • Tenor Card – Tadpola Cola, Frogleg Cola, Finless Cola
  • Soprano Card – Tadpola Cola, Frogleg Cola, Finless Cola, Croaka Cola

Once you have all of the cards, you will be able to get all of the different cola items from the juice bar. Keep in mind, that obtaining all of these cards will take some time. In the meantime, you can ponder if you should give the Wallet in Super Mario RPG.
